Format: The format for ONE CLUB GOLF events and tournament is stroke play. When playing in a stroke play golf event and tournament format, each golfer hits their own ball, and depending on what type of stroke play events or tournament format is being used, scores are recorded.
Medal Play: Each golfer plays their own ball and records the number of strokes they take on each hole.
Tournament Dates: Qualifying rounds will be played over your Site’s/Course’s selected dates, beginning in January 1, 2009, and extending through January 31, 2010. Your Site/Course may host the event multiple times during this period by notifying One Club Golf, L.L.C.
Registration: Golfer registration and payment for each event will occur at the Host Golf Site/Course. One Club Golf, L.L.C. will provide each Host Site/Course with Entry forms and a Host Site/Course Registration form. The Host Site/Course will give this completed Registration form and specified pro rata share of golfer payment(s) to One Club Golf, L.L.C. by an agreed upon date by the Host Site/Course and One Club Golf, L.L.C. representatives. All registered and participating golfers will fill out their individual Entry form(s) for each event the golfer chooses to participate in, and pay in advance the suggested seventy five dollars and no change ($75.00) fee for each event date the golfer chooses to participate in. Each Host Site/Course is responsible for mailing the individual participant entry forms with payment for their event(s) to One Club Golf, L.L.C to qualify for the One Club Golf, L.L.C. World Championship.
Participating Sites/Courses: Local Host Golf Sites/Courses are now registering for the 2009 Qualifying events. Once each Host Golf Site/Course is registered with One Club Golf, L.L.C., golfers will be able to obtain One Club Golf, L.L.C. tournament information and Entry forms from the registered Host Golf Site/Course, and from One Club Golf, L.L.C.’s sales staff who promote your local One Club Golf, L.L.C. events. One Club Golf, L.L.C. anticipates over 200 Golf Courses participating. To become a Qualified Host Golf Site/Course for the One Club Golf, L.L.C. Tournament, the Golf Site/Course shall sell a minimum of twenty (20) event tickets for the local One Club Golf, L.L.C. event, provide a complete registration form of your Site’s/Course’s (minimum) 20 golfers in the local One Club Golf, L.L.C. event, and timely collect and provide to One Club Golf, L.L.C. the specified funds for each individual event hosted.
Course Registration: Sites/Courses wishing to participate as Local Qualifying Host Sites/Courses may register by completing and faxing in the enclosed Site Qualifier Agreement sheet available online at http://oneclubgolf.com/uploadforms.aspx and facsimile number (678) 888-0429.
Entry Fees: Golfers will be able to play at their local Qualifying Site/Course by paying a suggested entry fee of seventy five dollars and no change ($75.00) per golfer. Sites/Courses shall remit to One Club Golf, L.L.C. twenty five dollars and no change ($25.00) per golfer. Winners of each event who advance to the World Championship will not pay an additional entry fee.
Participation: One Club Golf, L.L.C. anticipates approximately 10,000 golfers to enter local Qualifying Sites/Courses for the 2009 events. ALL event winners at Qualified Sites/Courses will WIN one Cleveland Niblick Iron, and Paid Entry into One Club Golf, L.L.C. World Championship, which consists of 36 holes over a two (2) day period.
** The terms One Club Golf, L.L.C. “World Championship” and One Club Golf, L.L.C. “Tournament” are interchangeable.
Scoring The Local Host Site/Course: The Host Site/Course will submit a completed and signed scorecard(s) for the Qualifying Event Winner to One Club Golf, L.L.C. for review. One Club Golf, L.L.C. request that golfers who score for fellow competitors attempt to put a reasonable score estimate for each hole (even if the golfer picked up). One Club Golf, L.L.C. collects this data for their local events and their World Championship only.
Course Incentive: All Qualifying Sites/Courses in 2009 will remit only twenty five dollars and no change ($25.00) of each seventy five dollars and no change ($75.00) entry fee, thereby retaining fifty dollars and no change ($50.00) per registered golfer. Courses must agree to Host the event in a professional manner and deliver at least one (1) Winner per event to the One Club Golf, L.L.C. World Championship. If the Host Site/Course obtains forty (40) or more registered golfers, then the Host Site/Course is allowed to choose one (1) additional entry for a golfer to participate at the One Club Golf, L.L.C. 2009 World Championship. One Club Golf, L.L.C. will provide that particular “chosen” golfer with Paid Entry into the One Club Golf, L.L.C. World Championship, which consists of 36 holes over a two (2) day period. If more than one full field of 144 players golfers will switch courses the second day to a predetermined course location.
Dates: Local Qualifying Sites/Courses may host an event more than once if they wish. Events should be scheduled between the months of January 1, 2009 thru January 31st, 2010. The 2009 World Championship is scheduled for March 2010 at Bridgemill Athletic club in Canton, Georgia.
Prizes: One Club Golf, L.L.C. is committed to a policy of complete compliance with USGA guidelines, terms, and conditions with regard to all prizes offered in our events and tournament. One Club Golf, L.L.C. will provide local winners with the following prizes: (1) Cleveland Niblick Club for the local One Club Golf, L.L.C. event Winner, (2) Paid Entry into the One Club Golf, L.L.C. World Championship. (Consisting of 2 rounds of golf). One Club Golf, L.L.C. guarantees Full Field Purse at the One Club Golf, L.L.C. World Championship is fifteen thousand dollars and no change ($15,000.00) minimum, and that the Winner of the One Club Golf, L.L.C. 2009 World Championship will receive a minimum of five thousand dollars and no change ($5,000.00).
